while reading chapter one of our school sucks i noticed something that Anderson said. I can"t find exactly what he said but he was basically saying most of the people who come up with the different assumptions are outsiders. He was saying they don't experience all the conditions that strudents do. If they do visit poor urban schools they just stay for an houtr or so and walk around. they are truely outsiders and don't know first hand everything that is going on.

Good point. Now, as you read the second chapter think about how the analysis and conclusions about these students differ from what was noted in the first chapter.
